Venice

The original 'Venice of America' business district was a small tract along Windward Avenue, and as the town grew, businesses spread along Ocean Front Walk, the boardwalk, and later Washington and Venice Boulevards. The City of Venice was annexed to the City of Los Angeles in 1925.
